Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

No one voted to close the library. It goes quietly, in a budget line nobody reads aloud, hours trimmed until Saturday disappears and the branch on the far side of town stops opening at all, and the patron in the tee watched Saturday go last spring. Not one person campaigned on it. This tee would like that said out loud.

Wear it to the county budget hearing, the library board meeting, the branch on its last Saturday, the city council session, and the family dinner where a relative says nobody uses it anyway. It is a strong gift for a patron, a Friends of the Library member, a branch librarian, and the friend who read the budget line aloud.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a budget hearing where the line gets read aloud. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the budget line read aloud on our book bans and libraries page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
