Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

We did not ask for troops. Nobody held a vote, nobody polled the block, no mayor or governor sent the invitation, and the resident in the tee checked all three before the trucks arrived because somebody far away decided this city would make a useful backdrop. Consent is the whole difference between protection and occupation. This tee is withholding it.

Wear it to the council hearing, the march, the governor's office visit, the block meeting, and the family dinner where a relative says the city needed it. It is a strong gift for a resident, a council member who objected, a civil rights lawyer, and the friend who checked for the vote.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a council hearing where nobody voted for it. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the consent entry in the resist and anti-fascist collection.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Which color do residents pick? Black by a wide margin. White for the march.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the march, the town hall, the No Kings day of action, the family dinner.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
