Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

Accommodations are not cheating. Extra time is not a head start, a quiet room is not an unfair edge, and a text-to-speech tool is not a shortcut around the work, and the student in the tee heard the word cheating from a classmate the day her accommodations came through. They exist so the test measures what a student knows rather than how fast she can decode a page. This tee is the explanation she should not have to give.

Wear it to the testing center, the disability services office, the college orientation, the accommodations meeting with the professor, and the family dinner where a relative says everyone should take the same test. It is a strong gift for a student, a disability services coordinator, a testing proctor, and the friend who explained it to the classmate.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a disability services office. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the quiet-room entry on our disability rights page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Common questions

How is this different from accommodations are not special treatment? That one is the workplace. This one is the exam room, and the classmate who said the word.

Would a disability services office order these for orientation? Offices do. Every shirt is printed to order. Any mix of sizes, one order.

Which color do students pick? Bay and Black. Blossom for orientation.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the hearing, the clinic, Disability Pride Month in July, the parking lot where someone took your spot.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
