Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

Accommodations are not special treatment. A screen reader, a flexible start time and a chair that fits are the things that make the work possible, and calling them perks implies everyone else is running the race unassisted, which the employee in the tee heard from a coworker who takes the stairs every day. Nobody calls a staircase special treatment. This tee puts that in proportion.

Wear it to the HR meeting, the workplace accommodations training, the disability rights conference, the office on the day the flexible schedule starts, and the family dinner where a relative says you get special treatment. It is a strong gift for a disabled employee, an HR person who gets it, a disability rights lawyer, and the friend who takes the stairs and knows.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across an accommodations training. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the staircase entry on our disability rights page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Common questions

Is a flexible start time a perk? It is the thing that makes the work possible, like a staircase for everyone else. The tee makes the comparison.

Would an HR team order these for the training? Teams do. Every shirt is printed to order. Any mix of sizes, one order.

Which color do employees pick? Black and Chambray. Ivory for the conference.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the hearing, the clinic, Disability Pride Month in July, the parking lot where someone took your spot.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
