Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

Disabled people are not an afterthought. The plan gets written, the room gets booked, the thing gets built, and somewhere near the end somebody asks whether anyone thought about access, and the person in the tee has been that question's answer at eleven meetings this year. Getting remembered last tells you exactly who was in the picture. This tee moves the question to the top.

Wear it to the planning meeting, the event committee, the product design review, the conference where the ramp arrived late, and the family dinner where a relative forgot the step at the door. It is a strong gift for an accessibility coordinator, an event planner who asks first, a disabled attendee, and the friend who moved the question up.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a planning meeting from the first agenda item. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the first-agenda-item entry on our disability rights page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Common questions

How is this different from we are not an edge case? That one is about the spreadsheet. This one is about the order of the agenda.

Would an event team order these? Teams do, for the planning meeting. Every shirt is printed to order. Any mix of sizes, one order.

Which color do coordinators pick? Black and Chambray. Ivory for the conference.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the hearing, the clinic, Disability Pride Month in July, the parking lot where someone took your spot.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
