Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

My meds are not a crutch. Nobody tells a person with astigmatism that glasses are a moral failure, but say the word stimulant or antidepressant and suddenly everyone has a theory about willpower, diet, and trying harder, and the ADHD adult in the tee has heard the theory from a relative, a coworker and a pharmacist in one month. Medication is a tool. This tee compares it to the glasses.

Wear it to the pharmacy counter, the psychiatrist's waiting room, the ADHD support group, the office where the coworker has a theory, and the family dinner where a relative brings up diet. It is a strong gift for an ADHD adult, a psychiatric nurse, a pharmacist who does not have a theory, and the friend who wears glasses and gets it.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a psychiatrist's waiting room. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the glasses entry on our neurodiversity page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Is this about ADHD meds or antidepressants? Either. The person wearing it takes one and gets the lecture about both.

Which color do people pick? Black and Chambray. Bay for the group.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the hearing, the clinic, Disability Pride Month in July, the parking lot where someone took your spot.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
