Unisex with a relaxed cut, true to size, S to 4XL. Garment-dyed heavyweight tee.

You will need ramps someday. Almost nobody stays permanently able-bodied, and the curb cut argued about at a budget meeting is the one you will be grateful for with a knee brace, a stroller or eighty years behind you, and the advocate in the tee watched that argument last month. Access is not a favor to a minority. This tee is about your future too.

Wear it to the city budget meeting, the accessibility hearing, the senior center, the physical therapy gym after the knee, and the family dinner where a relative calls the ramp a waste. It is a strong gift for an advocate, a city planner, a physical therapist, and the friend who just got the knee brace.

The tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, garment-dyed in 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft and evenly colored, with a heavier hand than a novelty tee and three lines that read across a city budget meeting. Direct-to-garment. It bonds with the cotton.

Unisex, relaxed, true to size. S through 4XL. Colors: Black, White, Bay, Blossom. Also Chambray, Graphite, Ivory, Banana. It is the someday entry on our disability rights page.

Designed and printed to order in the USA. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron the design.

Common questions

Will I really need a ramp? Knee, stroller, or eighty years. One of them is coming for almost everybody.

Would a senior center order these? Centers do, for the budget meeting. Every shirt is printed to order. Any mix of sizes, one order.

Which color do people pick? Bay and Chambray. Black for the hearing.

How does the 1717 fit? True to size, relaxed body. Order your usual.

Wear it to: the hearing, the clinic, Disability Pride Month in July, the parking lot where someone took your spot.

Fabric and fit

Comfort Colors 1717: 6.1 oz 100 percent ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed so it feels broken in from the first wear. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 4XL in eight colors. Double-needle stitching, no side seams, sewn-in label.

Measurements for every size are on the size and fit guide.

Printing and care

Printed to order in the USA, direct to garment: water-based ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and does not crack or peel.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print. More on the fabric and care page.

Shipping and returns

Every shirt is made when you order it and ships from the USA. Current production and delivery times, and how returns work, are on the shipping and returns page. Ordering for a group? See group and bulk orders.
